DownOff Version 2.4 Released
JSutils has just released an update to DownOff. The Installer and executable are now digitally signed plus help has been updated. DownOff monitors the average download rate and initiates computer shutdown if the download rate has been below a specified percentage for a preset time. It can also be used to shutdown a remote computer. DownOff supports all the normal shut down modes. Uses of DownOff include managing large file downloads from the internet (either HTTP or FTP) and large file transfers over a network, shutting down the computer when the download has completed. It can be started via the Windows Task Scheduler, on start up or manually at the same time as a download is initiated.
