CPUOff Version 4.3 Released
Wednesday, August 15th, 2007Fixes a bug where the log file is not created on Windows Vista if run without administrative priviledges. Adds hibernate support to shutdown options - this was the subject of several user requests. Also other minor bug fixes. For full details see history - note remote processor load control has been held over to the next release. If you have a suggestion for extra functionality for this program then contact us. CPUOff monitors average CPU load and initiates computer shutdown if the CPU load has been below a specified percentage for a preset time.

CPUOff Version 4.2 Released
Monday, May 28th, 2007This minor update to CPUOff fixes a bug where a run time error can occur in shutdown mode if the Config button is clicked. Improvements made to the processor load processing. Program no longer crashes if the log file becomes corrupted while the program is running. Log file now only shows processor load or communications status when log level is set to Full. Minor changes made to log file format. Program default values corrected. Help updated. Improvements made to configuration screen error checking. If the program is set to run minimised it now switches to visible run on top in shutdown mode. Minor cosmetic changes made to the main screen. Various minor improvements to error handling. Program Update News
Monday, April 23rd, 2007Coming 28th April: KeyOff Version 1 - This is the first version of a companion to CPUOff which shuts down a computer if there is no mouse or keyboard activity for a specified time. Like CPUOff the program is fully configurable via a configuration screen. It can also shut down a remote computer.
Coming Mid May: LANOff Version 3.0 - A major update to remove external dependencies and add a configuration screen plus many more changes.
Coming End May: CPUOff Version 4.2 - Fixing a number of minor bugs
Coming Mid June: KeyOFF Lite Version 1.0 - The variant of KeyOff that requires no configuration at all.
