JSutils has updated water use and cost comparison calculator EnCalcL has been updated to fix a bug where unit costs not saved to log for the first calculation after starting the program plus added a check for missing results log file on Archive. See history for more details.

JSutils water cost and use comparison calculator EnCalcL has been updated to optionally work in gallons and add a facility to clear the results log file.

JSutils has just successfully completed compatibility testing of EnCalcL, a water using appliance cost comparison calculator, with Windows 7 and Windows Vista Service Pack 2. Over the next few weeks we will be completing compatibility testing with the other JSutils programs.

JSutils has just updated water use calculator EnCalcL. The installer and executable are now digitally signed. Results are now time stamped plus a number of other minor changes. EnCalcL calculates the real cost of purchasing and running water using appliances, allowing items to be compared under the same or different conditions, or the true cost of one item to be worked out simply. The results which can include annual inflation can be saved to a log file for later analysis. EnCalcL is part of the JSutils group of software utilities which have a theme of energy conservation. Variables such as water use, number of uses per day and investment cost can be independently varied for 2 items for specified payback times and water cost to work out the true total cost.
