Windows 7 Support & FAQ

We haven’t yet tested compatibility of our software with Windows 7 yet but feedback suggests no problems so far. Testing is planned for December 2009 and January 2010. We have also added a new General FAQ page to the web site.

Registration 90% Of All Problems

90% of all problems reported to JSutils are due to issues relating to program registration. Nearly all of them have been due to issues cuvered on the updated Registration FAQ page just released.

Is there enough troubleshooting information? How could help navigation be improved. We try and keep the help information as useful and simple as possible. your help is vital in making sure we achieve our goal. Registration FAQ Available

Over the last year the biggest cause of problems with JSutils programs has been with registration. The solution is usually very simple and we have taken the opportunity to list all the causes to date as part of a Registration FAQ to save the need for a support call. CPUOff & CPUOff Lite Checked Out On Vista

Successful testing of CPUOff and CPUOff Lite has been carried out on Windows Vista Ultimate. CPUOff Lite worked without any problems apart from one icon in the start menu was blank (this will be corrected in a future release). CPUOff initially gave run time error 339 - this was cured by opening the property tab of the CPUoff executable and changing it to ‘run as admin’ on the compatibility tab.
