EnCalcLU Version 3.1 - Coming September  2010
The update to this water use and prediction calculator EnCalcLU is a bug fix release to correct a bug with fixed discount 2 plus add hot keys to the command buttons. EnCalcLU calculates the cost of water use, allowing both the real cost based on meter readings and forward prediction based on the readings and elapsed time to be calculated. The results can be saved to a log file for later analysis. The program can cope with both water and sewage volume charges, varying tax rates and discounts plus fixed charges enabling most charging models to be handled.

EnCalcOU Version 1.6 - Coming September 2010
The update to this gas use and prediction calculator EnCalcOU is a tidy up exercise to fix a number of minor bugs and bring it into line with EnCalcEU & EnCalcGU. EnCalcOU calculates the cost of oil, allowing both the real cost based on tank readings and forward prediction based on the readings and elapsed time. The results can be saved to a log file for later analysis. The program can cope with different shaped tanks, work in volume or depth of oil, varying tax rates plus fixed charges enabling most charging models to be handled. It will also calculate the amount of CO2 generated and predict when the tanks next need filling.

Programs Released Over The Last Month Or So

AllOff Lite Version 2.7 - Released 07-September-2010
This update fixes a bug where CPU load was not displayed correctly on 64 bit Windows 7. AllOff Lite monitors the mouse, keyboard and CPU load and initiates computer power off if there has been no keyboard or mouse activity for 900 seconds and the average CPU load has been below 15% for over 60 seconds. Uses of AllOff Lite include unattended backup (shutting down the computer when the backup has completed) and shutting down a computer if the user forgets. It can be started via the Windows Task Scheduler, on start up or manually. AllOff Lite is a great little utility for saving energy by making sure a computer shuts down when not needed.

AllOff Version 3.5 - Released 24-August-2010
This update to computer activity and shutdown utility adds the option of fixed time shutdown and the option to control whether shutdown is forced or not. It also fixes a bug where the CPU load was not displayed correctly on 64 bit Windows 7. AllOff monitors the mouse, keyboard and CPU load and initiates computer shutdown if there has been no keyboard or mouse activity and the average CPU load has been below the threshold set for the specified time. AllOff supports all the normal shut down modes. It can also be used to control a remote computer. Uses of AllOff include unattended backup (shutting down the computer when the backup has completed) and shutting down a computer if the user forgets. It can be started at a fixed time, on start up or manually.
